Rapsodo is once again a proud sponsor of the annual National Fastpitch Coaches Association Convention. But things are gearing up to be a little different than our past appearances at the event...
So what can coaches and other NFCA National Convention attendees expect this year?
The NFCA Convention Has Gone Virtual
Like so many other events this year, the NFCA National Convention has moved to a virtual platform. This set up may be an entirely new experience for many attendees and vendors, but NFCA has done a great job creating a virtual experience that allows both parties opportunities to attend educational sessions, discover new products, and network.
Virtual Booth
With the event being virtual, the exhibit floor is going to look a bit different. Instead of walking around and browsing the exhibit floor, attendees will be able to visit the "virtual booths" of vendors that peak their interests right from their laptop, phone or tablet.
Inside the virtual booth, attendants can view galleries of content provided by each vendor, including product demonstration or educational videos, case studies, special offers, and more.
Attendees can also choose to schedule one on one time with booth personnel from each vendor. This is a great opportunity for attendees to learn more about new products and solutions on their schedule, without the stress of quickly gathering a handful of pamphlets before running to make the next speaking session.
The Rapsodo NFCA Convention virtual booth will be run by 3 former collegiate softball players, two of which have coaching experience. We'll be ready to answer any and all questions about how Rapsodo products improve player evaluation tactics, coaching philosophy, and player development.
I'll let you in on a secret - we REALLY wish we had this stuff when we were playing and coaching!
Speakers
Just like it would be in a normal event setting, the NFCA Convention is jammed pack with educational sessions hosted by the most experienced minds in the game. From former Olympians to coaches from some of the country's top programs, attendees will be able to "attend" speaker sessions of their choosing, just like at in a normal conference setting.
Demonstrations
With that batting cage being virtual this year, vendors have the opportunity to showcase their products through one on one meetings with booth attendants, or in the virtual batting cage. Check out the full schedule here!
