Why the Baseball App
The Baseball app represents the next generation of Rapsodo innovation. It is a unified, modern platform built to deliver improved performance, stability, and faster feature development. It’s also been the platform that thousands of coaches have used with our PRO 2.0 product.
Most importantly, there is full parity between the Baseball app and the Diamond app. PRO 3.0 users will continue to have access to every piece of data, play screen, and mode they rely on today, now presented in a refreshed interface with thoughtful upgrades.
The Baseball app also enables new capabilities that were not possible in the Diamond app. Features like Scripted Sessions are now available, creating new opportunities for structured, data driven training and setting the stage for future performance tools.
A Seamless Transition for PRO 3.0 Users
Starting mid-January, PRO 3.0 users can opt into the Baseball app through a public beta. During this period, users can continue using the Diamond app while exploring the Baseball app at their own pace.
The switch is simple:
- Download the latest Baseball app from the Apple App Store
- Log in using your Rapsodo credentials
- Connect your PRO 3.0 device and begin training as usual
Your data, session history, and workflows move with you automatically. The experience remains familiar, with improved stability and a streamlined interface.
What to Expect Moving Forward
The Diamond app will be retired later this summer. A specific sunset date will be announced in advance to ensure users have ample time to prepare.
Between now and then, we will continue to communicate updates, provide resources, and support a smooth transition for all PRO 3.0 users. Our goal is a clear and predictable path forward with no surprises.
