As the Official Launch Monitor of the Golf Digest Hot List, Rapsodo provides the trusted performance data used during one of the most respected equipment evaluations in golf.
Now, we’re giving our community the opportunity to be part of that journey.
The Road to the Hot List starts with your game—and your data.
How to Enter the Challenge
Participation is simple and built around your normal practice routine.
To qualify:

Hit at least 75 shots in a single range session between the dates of 5/1/2026 - 5/25/2026.
- For MLM2PRO, you can hit your 75 shots on Outdoor Range, Rapsodo Range or Target Range.
- For MLM1, you can hit your 75 shots on Outdoor Range or Virtual Range.
- Use your Rapsodo MLM2PRO or MLM1 device
- Sync your session data within the Rapsodo app
Final Step: Tell Us Why You Belong on the Hot List
After completing and syncing your 75-shot session, there’s one more step.
Send a short email to HotList@Rapsodo.com sharing why you would be a strong Hot List tester.
In 75–150 words, tell us:
- What kind of golfer you are (including handicap range and location)
- How you evaluate golf equipment and performance
- Why your perspective would add value to the Hot List
Your submission must also include:
- The email address associated with your Rapsodo account (required to match your session data)
Guidelines:
- Be clear, concise, and authentic
- Write in your own voice
- Include a subject line: “Hot List Submission – [Your Name]”
This step helps us evaluate how you communicate your experience—an essential part of Hot List testing.
What Happens Next
This challenge serves as the first step in identifying golfers within the Rapsodo community who are ready for the demands of Hot List testing.
- Up to 25 golfers will be selected to move forward
- Finalists may be considered for participation in the 2027 Golf Digest Hot List Tester Competition
Do You Have What It Takes?
Hot List testing is a true test of performance, endurance, and consistency.
Player Profile:
- Handicap Index: 0–5, 6–9, or 10–16
- Right-handed golfers only
- Comfortable communicating in English
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to hit golf balls for 6+ hours per day
- Sustain performance across a 4-day testing experience
Additional Considerations:
- Recommendation from a teaching professional or home club pro is highly recommended and can be included in initial submission or as future contact as reference
- Applicants must be based in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, or Puerto Rico

Timing: Late October – Early November 2027
Location: California, Arizona, or Florida
